A working draft of the terms that would govern access to CodeCare.

Draft for completion and legal review. Replace bracketed fields and confirm product, payment, jurisdiction and liability terms with qualified counsel before acceptance or publication. These draft terms are not an offer and do not create an active subscription.

1. Scope and acceptance

These proposed terms are intended to govern use of the CodeCare website and, once released, its software maintenance service. They are a draft only. The service is not activated by browsing this site. Final terms must identify the contracting entity, eligible users, start date, order of precedence and method of acceptance.

2. Accounts and responsibilities

Users would be responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting authentication factors, controlling access to their workspace and promptly reporting suspected compromise. Organization administrators should have authority to connect repositories and set permissions for the organization. Confirm the actual account and access controls before publication.

3. Repository permissions and customer content

You should connect only repositories you are authorized to use. You retain your rights in source code and other material you provide. The final agreement must define the limited license needed to process such material, the permission scopes requested from GitHub, data retention and deletion, and any rights in generated output. Do not connect repositories until those terms are final.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are Starter at $29 per month for 1 app, Indie at $79 per month for 5 apps, and Studio at $199 per month for unlimited apps, in USD. Dodo Payments (https://dodopayments.com) is the merchant of record: it collects payment, issues invoices, and handles applicable taxes. CodeCare does not store card numbers. Checkout is a redirect to Dodo hosted checkout and returns to https://codecare.si/workspace. A subscription renews monthly until it is cancelled. Cancellation takes effect on the next billing date, and access continues until that date. Upgrades take effect when Dodo confirms the plan change. Downgrades take effect on the next billing date. Refunds follow Dodo Payments' merchant-of-record policy. Checkout stays unavailable until the operator configures Dodo products, and the site does not record a paid subscription from the browser alone.

5. Service limits and availability

Maintenance results depend on repository permissions, available context, third-party services and the quality of test suites. The final terms must set service availability commitments, support levels, usage limits, maintenance windows, dependency on GitHub or AI providers, and remedies for interruption. No uptime or service-level commitment is made in this draft.

6. AI-generated code and review

AI-generated analysis and code may be incomplete, inaccurate, insecure or incompatible. Outputs require review by a qualified person who understands the repository and its deployment context. Tests can miss defects; passing checks do not guarantee a correct or safe change. You remain responsible for reviewing diffs, running appropriate checks and deciding whether to merge, deploy, roll back or retain a change. CodeCare does not make production changes automatically under the proposed workflow described on this site.

7. Intellectual property

Ownership and permitted use of the service, user content, generated code, feedback and open-source materials must be confirmed in final terms. Users should ensure they have rights to submit repository content and review applicable third-party licenses.

8. Acceptable use

Use of the planned service would be subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. Do not use the service to gain unauthorized access, distribute malicious code or violate applicable law.

9. Suspension and termination

The final terms must describe when either party may suspend or terminate access, how users can disconnect GitHub, what happens to pending pull requests and stored information, and how deletion and export requests are handled.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Any warranties, exclusions, liability caps, indemnities and mandatory consumer protections require jurisdiction-specific legal review. No limitation in this draft is intended to waive rights that cannot legally be waived. Insert final terms here after review; do not rely on this draft to determine available remedies.

11. Changes and contact

Final terms should explain how material changes are communicated and when they take effect. Contact: legal@codecare.si.
